Along with being a powerful Troubleshooting tool, the IntelliSchematic becomes machine specific courseware when put in the hands of an industrial trainer. The classroom manual for each student is the KwikRef schematic or mechanical flow chart from the machine. (The KwikRef is derivative product from the development of the IntelliSchematic. See illustration) The instructor simply reviews each of the machine’s events, while going through all sequence s of operation. With each symbol or mechanical illustration having a learning animation of the components functional operation embedded in to it, the instructor can easily review all the way back to the generic training if need be. Do to the nature of how the IntelliSchematic is organized into a complete digital package with navigation included; very little preparation time is required for the instructor. The student engagement and retention is at its peak with this type of training because the student is most often familiar with the machine in discussion, or knows that he will be working on it in the future. This training moves a technician well into the Skill area of his progression toward mastery. [insert the small triangle here with something indicating the level at ‘skill”]
"We have never before experienced more classroom involvement and interest than when we held Machine Specific training using the IntelliSchematic as the training material; it was incredible what was learned…" Maintenance Manager, Phelps Dodge
